'Posters' Wins Best Gospel/Christian Album at the NZ Music Awards!
We're excited to announce that Strahan's debut album Posters has taken out the Gospel/Christian Album of The Year award at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards! The Album was also a finalist for Best Album Art in the Technical Awards a few weeks earlier.
The 11 track album released in January 2013 debuted at No.8 on the NZ Album Charts that month and sat at No.4 on the iTunes NZ Singer/Songwriter charts alongside Ed Sheeran and The Lumineers. In his speech Strahan thanked Nic Manders his producer as well as the many people who have supported him in helping fund, distribute and record the album. 'Posters' Art a finalist in Best Album Artwork at the Technical NZ Music Awards
The 'Posters' album cover designed by Heather Liddell has been nominated for Best Album Art at the 2013 NZ Music Technical awards. The design will run against artists Fat Freddy's Drop and Beastwars.
The Technical awards will be held at the Pullman hotel on the 22nd of October 2013. |

'Posters' Goes #8 on The NZ Album Charts!
After a great weekend down at Parachute Music Festival and huge support from everyone at the launch, Posters charted at No.8 on the NZ Top 40 Album Charts! It also reached No.4 on the iTunes Top Singer/Songwriter Albums ranking beside Ed Sheeran (1 & 3) and The Lumineers (2nd). Thanks so much to everyone for your support. We're looking forward to the NZ album tour March/April. |
